Brad came in for a visit this weekend. He is less than three weeks away from finishing school as well!

Anyway, last night we were sitting around eating dinner and watching a movie and hear this crazy noise. He goes to check it out, and lo and behold, it has snowed nearly 2 inches since we came home. The “crazy noise” was someone shoveling the sidewalk, but it’s not a common sound for a southerner like me.

The funniest part is that Katie asked me to take photos of all the snow the night before when we were chatting. I’m all like, “The snow is almost all gone. It’s just really cold here.” So apparently, mother nature wanted Katie to have her pictures of the snow. Although, I thought there was just a bunch of snow in Portland.

By the way, I hear from some fellow Coloradians (?) that you should never trust Mapquest or Google maps in the winter if you ever need to go through the mountains there. Apparently some roads simply cease to exist in the winter, it snows so much in the mountains.

I agree with Mango about the roads…and also you wouldn’t want to pull a James Kim!

Thanks for the pics of snow! Portland hardly gets any snow. You get more snow in TN than we get in Portland. HOWEVER…if I want some snow, I just have to drive an hour to Mt. Hood, and then I get 15 feet +!! It’s kinda the perfect location, to not have to deal with the inconvenience of snow but getting to enjoy all the fun part of it whenever I so choose.

Yay! We finally got snow! 2.5 inches… enough to make snow balls and make the roads incredibly slick. But SNOW!
